We are proud of our alumni VirtualQ, VMRay, camunda, and uberall, who made it into “Gründerszene”’s top 50 growing German startups. It’s always a great joy to hear about our alumni’s continued success – it means everyone gave their best and it’s paying off.
The Score That Matters
Already for the fourth time, “Gründerszene” honors the growth winners of the startup scene. One of the main aspects, which is important for the final decision is the score of growth. It bundles and evaluates all data concerning the increase of the companies. So this score is a key figure. It consists of certain factors that the startups fulfill and in addition, it serves the fairness. It results both from the average sales growth of the last financial years and from the age of the company. This last aspect is an innovation in the current issue. The reason lies in a fair performance assessment. Young startups are still largely unknown and therefore do not grow as fast as those that have already established themselves on the market and, with their greater popularity, also present a rapid development. In summary, one can say that startups in advanced years show a faster growth.
Watching Startups Grow
It is particularly exciting to see how enormous the startups evolved in the end. In addition, in their respective growth histories, you can recognize very impressive developments, of which each startup is very proud. This ranking rewards the courage and hard work of the founders and employees. The award of the cross-industry “Gründerszene” Top 50 also intends to raise public awareness for German companies. Thus the startups present themselves to the general public and have the chance to convince the society of their idea. There will also be a comprehensive online reporting by various well-known media partners.
